Capella Kyoto

The F&B program for Capella Kyoto was conceived as a layered collection of highly differentiated dining and social experiences designed to activate the property throughout the day while creating strong destination appeal beyond the hotel itself.
The offering includes a signature restaurant positioned around the inner bamboo courtyard, creating a calm and immersive connection between architecture, nature, and refined dining. An elevated Japanese izakaya with garden surroundings brings a more vibrant and social energy through contemporary Japanese cuisine, craftsmanship, and evening atmosphere.
A French brasserie with street access and an haute pâtisserie component was designed to create stronger interaction with the local neighborhood and daytime activation, combining elegant dining, café culture, artisanal pastries, and destination appeal for both hotel guests and Kyoto residents.
Complementing the program, Carte Blanche introduces a more intimate and experiential dimension through a chef-led multi-course counter dining experience paired with a highly curated bar program. Designed as a refined culinary conversation between guests, chef, and sommelier, the venue focuses on discovery, interaction, rare pairings, and personalized hospitality within an intimate haute cuisine environment.
