Aperture transformed the historic courtyard of the former Department of Education building into a highly activated social and lifestyle space within Capella Sydney.

The project focused on optimizing a complex heritage volume through the integration of natural light, landscaping, flexible seating, all-day activation, and a strong F&B offering adapted to multiple guest occasions throughout the day. The space balances architectural grandeur with warmth and fluidity, reinforced by a striking suspended lighting installation combining artistic elegance and cutting-edge technology.
